Vision Statement

To create a global community for  rehabilitation professionals (Academic and clinical) and other healthcare scientists, as well as students, residents and fellows of rehab professions and healthcare science, of Indian origin, who will elevate the status of rehabilitation care in India through community service, education, and research grounded on the principles of the evidence informed practice.

Mission Statement

The mission of InSPIRE is to engage  rehabilitation professionals (Academic and clinical) and other healthcare scientists, as well as students, residents and fellows of rehab professions and healthcare science, of Indian origin, to foster mutual professional growth and progression of rehabilitation care by developing advanced clinical communities and educational services in India and USA. The mission is to foster mutual professional growth and progress the rehabilitation care.

The term “Indian Origin” is used in an ethnic sense regardless of birthplace and is meant exclusively to pertain to persons whose ancestry, in whole or in part, derives from India.


Purpose

The InSPIRE Inc. is organized as a non-profit association within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, as amended (or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law), including for such purposes, 

  • to bring together individuals and organizations of rehabilitation professionals (Academic and clinical) and other healthcare scientists, as well as students, residents and fellows of rehab professions and healthcare science, of Indian origin (as hereafter defined), residing in the United States of America (the “United States”) under one umbrella organization.

  • to support and foster the availability of rehabilitation services to indigent people in the United States and India.

  • to conduct seminars and other educational activities to inform members of new scientific developments in the field of rehabilitation.

  • to maintain a directory of rehabilitation professionals and healthcare scientists of Indian origin.

  •  to provide mutual understanding and cooperation between the InSPIRE and other healthcare organizations in the United States and India.

  • to provide other member services as needed within the provision of the Code that governs the InSPIRE organization’s tax-exempt status.
