The International Society for Progression in Rehabilitation and Education (InSPIRE) Swades Inc.

The International Society for Progression in Rehabilitation and Education (InSPIRE) Swades Inc. was formed to address a need for cohesive action on the part of rehabilitation professionals (Academic and Clinical) and other healthcare scientists, as well as students, residents and fellows of rehab professions and healthcare science, of Indian Origin (as hereafter defined), residing in the United States of America (the “United States”).

The InSPIRE Swades Inc. was also formed to maintain the identity of this group of people, to provide a forum for charitable, educational, cultural, and scientific interaction among its members.

The term “Indian Origin” is used throughout these Bylaws in an ethnic sense regardless of birthplace and is meant exclusively to pertain to persons whose ancestry, in whole or in part is derived from India.
